Gov’t Mule are in the midst of a Texas run, and after welcoming several guests on Thursday in Austin, the band’s tour moved to The Aztec Theatre in San Antonio for another guest-filled affair.

The sit ins kicked off near the end of the first set, with percussionist Ray Arteaga, who had joined the band the previous night, returning for “Slackjaw Jezebel” before another Thursday guest, guitarist Gordie Johnson, the Big Sugar bandmate of Arteaga’s who helped produce Mule’s latest album Revolution Come…Revolution Go, joined in for “Freeway Jam,” “Come & Go Blues” and “Dreams.”

Set two saw Mule bring back Arteaga for “Fool’s Moon” early on, and the percussionist returned with Johnson later on for “I Believe to My Soul,” before Alex Johnson, another Big Sugar member and wife of Gordie, added to the collaboration that ran through “I’m A Ram,” “So Ram, So Rong” and “Unblow Your Horn” before returning to “I’m A Ram.” Arteaga and Gordie then returned to help out on an encore of “Statesboro Blues.”

See the full setlist below as it appears in our Box Scores section. Gov’t Mule continue their Texas run tonight at the Majestic in Dallas.
