Gov’t Mule once again highlighted their Texas run with a guest-filled event at the Majestic Theatre in Dallas as Rey Arteaga and Gordie Johnson again joined the group.

The collaborations started at the end of the first set when Arteaga and Johnson emerged for “Good Morning Little Schoolgirl” as well as “Sco-Mule” to close out the set. Arteaga returned by himself in the second set to add percussion to “Doing It to Death,” “Sarah, Surrender” and “Stone Cold Rage” before Johnson returned for “Traveling Tune.”

The set closed with a lengthy segment centered around “30 Days in the Hole” as Arteaga and Johnson teamed up with Mule to foray into tunes like “Mississippi Queen” and “I Don’t Need No Doctor” before returning to “30 Days.” A single encore of “Get Behind the Mule” helped cap the evening.
