In light of the passing of Tom Petty, Relix has unveiled the full cover story with the iconic singer-songwriter, taken from the September 2014 issue.

Featuring Petty on the cover, the piece chronicled the release of his new album Hypnotic Eye with the Heartbreakers. Petty spoke to Alan Light about the band’s entire career as they readied to release their nineteenth album. Petty passed away last night at the age of 66.
