Following the events in Las Vegas, Austin City Limits is offering refunds to anyone who doesn’t want to attend.

The announcement came following the mass shooting in Las Vegas which targeted a three-day country music festival, claiming the lives of over 50 people and injuring hundreds others. ACL kicks off this weekend and is one of the largest music festivals in the country, recruiting the likes of Jay Z, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Killers and Ryan Adams to play over two weekends.

CBS Austin is also reporting that Austin police will review their safety plan for this weekend’s event, deploying more police on foot, riding bikes and all-terrain vehicles. Austin Police Chief Brian Manley also said that they will be checking all high-rise apartments and condos along the park to be aware of any threats.

Austin City Limits kicks off on Friday.
