Phish tribute act Runaway Gin are in the midst of their fall tour, and the band surprised their hometown crowd at the Charleston Pour House this past weekend with a sit in from Phish lyricist Tom Marshall.

Giving Marshall a subtle introduction, the band played Phish’s “Taste,” “Ocelot” and “Moma Dance,” spelling out TOM with a run of tunes containing his lyrics, before welcoming Marshall up on stage, along with vocalist Regina Ferguson, for another of his songs, “Wading in the Velvet Sea.” Marshall also joined the band for the first time earlier this year in Baltimore.

Next up for Runaway Gin is a show at The Southern in Charlottesville, VA. See the full schedule here.
