Kung Fu are spending their Halloween weekend in Colorado with three shows October 26–28, where the band will unveil a new concert concept for the holiday, “Stephen Kung Fu.”

The shows, taking place at Boulder’s Fox Theatre on October 26 and at Denver’s Be On Key Psychedelic Ripple on October 27–28, will feature Kung Fu’s usual funk repertoire mixed with selections from and inspired by the movie and television adaptation’s of Stephen King’s classic horror novels. Some possible cuts teased by the band include The Ramones’ “Pet Semetary,” George Thorogood’s “Bad to the Bone,” used in Christine, and AC/DC’s full score of Maximum Overdrive.
