Trey Anastasio opened up his solo band tour last night with the first of two nights at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas, and the group wasted no time in showing off some new material, including two debut originals one choice cover.

The night kicked off with Anastasio and his bandmates Jennifer Hartswick, Natalie Cressman and James Casey approaching the front of the stage for an a cappella version of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” a debut for the group, though Anastasio has played it with Phish in the past. TAB then immediately brought out another debut, the new original “Set Your Soul Free.”

After a 12-song opening set, the band settled into a more expanded 8-song second frame, with TAB live staples like “Simple Twist Up Dave” and “Sand.” Anastasio and company then debuted one more original for the audience in the encore with the first live rendition of “Soul Planet.”

See the full setlist below as it appears in our Box Scores section. Anastasio and his band return to the Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas stage tonight to close out their run.
