Last month, a new musical featuring the music of Jerry Garcia, Robert Hunter and the Grateful Dead, Red Roses, Green Gold, announced its opening in New York City, and the production has now been extended into 2018.

The musical officially opened up this past Sunday after previews earlier this month, and its run has been extended through January 8. The production, which tapped Dead & Company’s Jeff Chimenti as musical supervisor and arranger, is set in the 1920s and “tells the fantastical and comical tale of Jackson Jones and his family of swindlers as they gamble their way to love and riches.”

Red Roses, Green Gold is playing at the Minetta Lane Theatre Box Office. More information can be found here.
