California soul outfit Orgone brought their tour to the Fox Theatre in Boulder, CO, this past Sunday, and the band welcomed out a couple of special guests for the evening.

Joe Tatton, keyboardist for The New Mastersounds, came on stage to join the headliners for one tune, “Ritual, while Kim Dawson, lead vocalist for Pimps of Joytime, helped out on “I’m a Woman.” Dawson has recently collaborated with her vocalist counterpart in Orgone, Adryon de Léon, in new group Matador! Soul Sounds, which also features Soulive and Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe drummer Alan Evans, New Mastersounds guitarist Eddie Roberts, keyboardist Chris Spies and bassist Kevin Scott.

Next up for Orgone is a New Year’s Eve performance at The Hive in Sandpoint, ID, before they kick off a batch of winter tour dates in January.
