Robert Randolph and The Family Band will return to New York’s Brooklyn Bowl on Thursday, January 25. The performance, which falls during Grammy Week, will celebrate Randolph’s fifth Grammy nomination. The sacred-steel pioneer is up for Best Contemporary Blues Album for his new release Got Soul. His last nomination was a 2009 nod for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal for his collaboration with The Clark Sisters on “Higher Ground.”

Randolph will kick off his New Year’s run at Jackson, WY’s The Center Theater tomorrow. The Grammys will return to New York for the first time since 2003, taking place at Madison Square Garden on Sunday, January 28.
