Last night, The Disco Biscuits kicked off their four-night New Year’s Run at New York’s PlayStation Theater, a venue they have now played more than any other. The late-night show started around Midnight and stretched past 3 am.

During their first set, the band completed a version of “Mindless Dribble” they started during their last New York show at Brooklyn’s Ford Amphitheater at Coney Island in September. The evening also included “Sister Judy’s Soul,” which was revived earlier this year. The Biscuits also teased Donna Summer’s “I Feel Love” during the night.

Keeping in line with their tradition of busting out a holiday classic, the band presented their first take on the Nutcracker’s “Dance Of The Sugarplum Fairy” of 2017. Interestingly, Marc Brownstein and Aron Magner played the Tchaikovsky tune—a longtime Disco Biscuits staple—at Brooklyn Bowl last December during Dave Harrington’s annual Holiday Spectacular before it was segued into Sharon Jones’ “Eight Days of Hanukkah.”

Biscuits will return to PlayStation this evening.A full setlist is available below.
