Umphrey’s McGee opened up their three-night New Year’s Eve run at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, CO, last night and welcomed a special guest for the occasion.

The first set, which opened with a raging “Bathing Digits,” featured a sit in from North Mississippi Allstars drummer Cody Dickinson, who came up to help out on “Susanah,” a tune that dates back to UM guitarist Brendan Bayliss’ 30db duo project with Jeff Austin. Friday’s show also featured a second set that kicked off with live staple “JaJunk” and closed with the expansive “Draconian.” The band later delivered an encore cover of Pink Floyd’s classic “Comfortably Numb.”
