Widespread Panic returned to some familiar stomping grounds last night, playing the first of three shows at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre to close out 2017.

The evening opened up with a poignant cover of Talking Heads’ “Heaven,” a nod to friends and colleagues that have passed away this year, especially Col. Bruce Hampton. For several members of the band, last night was the first time they had played a show at the Fox since participating in a star-studded concert celebrating Hampton’s 70th birthday, a show that would ultimately end with the guest of honor collapsing on stage during the encore and later passing away.

The rest of the show featured a mixture of originals including a few early cuts, and the performance rounded out with an encore featuring the first “Dream Song” in over a year and “North.”

See the full setlist below, along with fan-shot video from the night. Panic return to the Fox tonight for round two.
