Amir Bar-Lev’s expansive Grateful Dead documentary Long Strange Trip, which premiered last year and is currently streaming via Amazon, is set for a few theater screenings in New York City.

The film, which was executive produced by Martin Scorsese and boasts a nearly four-hour runtime, is playing at New York’s IFC Center movie theater now through January 4. See the schedule here.

Long Strange Trip chronicles the Dead from their humble beginnings, through their rise to fame and the gathering of their legendary fanbase and closes with the passing of frontman and face of the band, Jerry Garcia, in 1995.
