Known for their work with Phish in the ’90s, the Giant Country Horns sat-in with another band from Vermont this past weekend, Twiddle.
The two groups first teamed up this summer, when the Giant Country Horns joined Twiddle for a Phish after-party at New York’s Irving Plaza during the band’s Baker’s Dozen residency.
For Twiddle’s New Year’s Eve performance in Albany, the horn section provided extra instrumentation during the entire second set, including on “Lost In The Cold” off of their new LP Plump (Chapters 1 & 2) and preferred set-closer “Beethoven and Greene.”
