Golden Gate Wingmen, Melvin Seals & JGB, Roosevelt Collier and More to Play Skull & Roses Festival

California’s Skull & Roses festival will return for a second year in April, and playing the event will be a number of Grateful Dead and Bay Area-associated acts, including Golden Gate Wingmen (featuring John Kadlecik with his former Furthur bandmates Jeff Chimenti and Jay Lane plus bassist Reed Mathis), Melvin Seals & JGB and more.

Terrapin Crossroads regular Stu Allen will also bring his Mars Hotel band to the festival, and Roosevelt Collier will be presenting a set of Dead music. Also set to play the three-day event are Moonalice, Cubensis, David Gans, Shred is Dead, Alligators, Jerry’s Middle Finger, Shaky Feelin’, 9 Mile Skid, Grateful Bluegrass Boys, Electric Waste Band, Wake of the Dead and Punk is Dead, with more to be added.

Skull & Roses 2 will take place at the Ventura County Fairgrounds in Ventura, CA, on April 6–8. More information can be found here.
