In honor of this weekend’s Women’s March events around the country, Daptone Records has released a new single from Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, “Tear It Down,” a song of protest recording by Jones and her band for their 2017 album Soul of a Woman, the soul singer’s final record before passing away after a long battle with cancer.

The new tune features a repeated mantra of “They keep trying to build more walls; we’re gonna tear them down,” a direct reference to the U.S./Mexico border wall proposed by President Trump, and the video includes studio footage of Jones mixed with footage of last year’s Women’s March and protests.

“Sharon was always passionate about progressive political issues and was a vocal critic of Donald Trump’s plan to build a wall dividing two nations,” Daptone writes about the single, which the Brooklyn record company is offering in exchange for donations to the National Immigration Law Center. Daptone will match all donations made in the first 24 hours.
