Kyle Hollingsworth’s new studio album, 50, will be released on March 2 via SCI Fidelity Records. That date also will double as the 50th birthday of the String Cheese Incident keyboard player. He will celebrate the release with three Colorado gigs in early March and Relix is currently premiering “Prime” from the forthcoming record, which is now available for pre-order.

Hollingsworth will be on the East Coast for four East Coast shows next week, kicking things off on February 7 at Brooklyn Bowl. That date will double as the release event for Ground Score, the new IPA that Hollingsworth created in collaboration with SweetWater Brewery and Relix (Tickets and more information about the show can be found here and additional information about Ground Score appears here ). The night will feature half-price pours from 6-8 PM, as well as a panel discussion featuring Hollingsworth, Relix editor Dean Budnick, SweetWater head brewer Nick Nock and Crosby Hop Farm’s Zak Schroerlucke starting at 7:30. The event also will feature a free raffle to win VIP tickets to this year’s SweetWater 420 Fest.
