New Jersey’s annual Asbury Park Music & Film Festival will return this spring with more live shows and movie screenings, and the festival’s latest addition is singer-songwriter Michael Franti, who will offer both a performance and the world premiere of his documentary Stay Human.

The film follows Franti’s own story from childhood to his music stardom and beyond, with a focus on six stories of “extraordinary changemakers” around the world.

Franti joins an APMFF lineup that already features performances from Gov’t Mule, North Mississippi Allstars, Built to Spill and more, plus the world premiere of a Break On Thru, a documentary on Ray Manzarek and The Doors, the Grateful Dead doc Long Strange Trip, a discussion with actor Danny DeVito and more.

Tickets to Franti’s concert and screening, which will also feature a live Q&A with the documentary’s producers, will be available this Friday, February 16, at 10am ET. More information can be found at the festival’s website.
