Widespread Panic played their first of two shows at Legacy Arena in Birmingham, AL, last night, offering a two-set affair the featured a number of covers, including a Professor Longhair cover that hadn’t seen a Panic setlist in a while.

The band brought out Longhair’s “Red Beans” near the middle of the first set, marking the first time they’d played the tune since September 2016. Set one also closed out with a rendition of Bobby Rush’s “Bowlegged Woman, Knick Kneed Man.”

The second act opened with “Greta” that transitioned into a cover of Neil Young’s “Walk On,” and the set ended with covers of Vic Chesnutt’s “Sleeping Man” and The Guess Who’s “No Sugar Tonight/New Mother Nature.” Panic then returned for a three-song encore featuring Funkadelic’s “Red Hot Mama.”

See the full setlist below as it appears in our Box Scores section, and see more photos from the night here. Widespread Panic return to the Legacy Arena stage tonight for round two.
