Last night, Trey Anastasio’s solo acoustic tour made a stop in Charlotte, NC, and the guitarist served up a twenty-one song set on the twenty-first anniversary of the Phish classic “Carini.” (The song was first performed during Phish’s European tour on 2/17/1997 at the Paradiso in Amsterdam.)

And while “Carini” arrived late in last night’s set, the preceding numbers spanned from the opening “Theme From the Bottom” to the first solo acoustic “Lifeboy” since 2006.

Anastasio sandwiched the celebratory “Carini” between a “Wading in the Velvet Sea” and a set-closing “Back on the Train” before a “Brian and Robert,” “Show of Life,” “Backwards Down the Numberline” encore.

Trey Anastasio will perform the final show in his solo acoustic tour tonight in Athens, Ga.
