Phish announced that for this year’s Record Store Day (April 21)
they will release a special edition of their sixth studio album Billy Breathes as a double vinyl LP.

According to the band’s official announcement, “Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering cut the lacquers from the Digital Audio Tape flat master for the vinyl edition [of Billy Breathes. Each LP includes a free MP3 download of the album transferred from the vinyl.”

The band’s most recent vinyl reissue came last year when they released a 4-LP boxset of A Live One.

As per the band’s announcement, this version of Billy Breathes will be “available exclusively at participating independently owned record stores across the country.”
