Paul Simon has just added the final dates of his upcoming outing Homeward Bound—The Farewell Tour, which will mark the iconic singer-songwriter’s last major tour.

The new dates kick off in the southern states, starting with New Orleans on September 5 and hitting three stops in Florida and one in Atlanta before moving to Washington, DC, New Jersey and Pittsburgh and wrapping up with three nights in New York City, two of them at Madison Square Arena and one venue to be announced.

“I’ve often wondered what it would feel like to reach the point where I’d consider bringing my performing career to a natural end,” Simon says of the tour. “Now I know: it feels a little unsettling, a touch exhilarating and something of a relief. I love making music, my voice is still strong, and my band is a tight, extraordinary group of gifted musicians. I think about music constantly. I am very grateful for a fulfilling career and, of course, most of all to the audiences who heard something in my music that touched their hearts.”

See the full Homeward Bound tour schedule below. Tickets for most of the newly added dates go on sale this Friday, March 16 (except New Orleans and DC). All tour information can be found at Simon’s website.
