The Jerry Garcia Family Partners with Street Plant to Create Wolf-Themed Skateboards

Street Plant Skateboards has teamed up with the Garcia family to present the first-ever Garcia-approved skateboard decks.

Emblazoned with Garcia’s longtime Wolf icon, and available in two sizes, the decks embody a ’70s California style with “gold foil leafing on the cartoon wolf’s ears and snout, and cherry red stripes down the bottom of each board.” Garcia’s iconic handprint is also featured on the top of each board, and a similar hand-printed grip-tape will also be available.

Company founder/pro-skateboarder Mike Vallely started Street Plant as a 100% independently owned, family run business. He described his personal connection to this Garcia-themed project, writing, “where Music and Skateboarding intersect, there is my Heart, and Jerry’s Music in Playing.”

The boards are now available for pre-order on Street Plant’s website.

My Reverence for Jerry Garcia is without end. I find Wholeness, Harmony, Freedom, and Radiance in His Music, Filling me with Optimism, Love, and Hope. Our daily soundtrack here in Garageland is Infused with Garcia’s Songs, Inspiring the Best in us, and Encouraging us to continue to Move in the Direction of our Dreams.

Working with the Garcia Family via Street Plant to Present the First-Ever Jerry Garcia Skateboards and accessories is a True Honor, and it brings my Family and I Great Joy! Where Music and Skateboarding intersect, there is my Heart, and Jerry’s Music is Playing.
