Umphrey’s McGee continued their spring tour on Wednesday night with a one-off show in Montana, punctuating their performance with a new version of Dire Straights’ 1985 track “So Far Away.”

The Knopfler tune came during the show’s second half, sandwiched within a set-two opening “Der Bluten Kat” jam. The band kept up the classic rock vibes with the show-closing “Utopian Fir,” which included teases of AC/DC’s “Back in Black.”

In another interesting moment from Missoula, during set one, guitarist Jake Cinninger took over keyboard duties on “Push the Pig,” which bled back into “Syncopated Strangers.”

Umphrey’s McGee’s tour continues this week with stops in Seattle and Portland, Ore.
