Pearl Jam wrapped up their stay in South America on Saturday with a slot at Lollapalooza’s Brazilian iteration at São Paulo’s Autódromo de Interlagos, and the band welcomed Perry Farrell to celebrate the festival founder’s birthday and help out on a Jane’s Addiction tune.

Pearl Jam’s performance opened with some of their live staples like “Do the Evolution” and “Even Flow” before frontman Eddie Vedder brought out Farrell, who was presented with a cake and serenaded by the band and crowd in celebration of his upcoming 59th birthday on March 29. The Jane’s Addiction singer then joined Vedder for “Mountain Song,” a cover only played by Pearl Jam once before, at Austin City Limits Festival in 2009, also with Farrell as a guest.

The band also busted out a partial cover of Talking Heads’ “Pulled Up” before “Unthought Known,” marking the first appearance of the Heads cover in a PJ setlist since 1995. The band’s encore featured another partial cover not played since ’95, a bit of Jimi Hendrix’s “Voodoo Child” that came out of “Alive,” along with Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb,” The Who’s “Baba O’Riley” and a “Yellow Ledbetter” finale.
