Before they hit the road for a bunch headlining dates around the US, White Denim have announced a special, four-night residency in their hometown of Austin, Tx.

The band will hold a show every Saturday this April at their recently built recording studio and production company Radio Milk, offering fans an inside look at one of their most creative spaces.

“We will be trying out new songs and playing some old favorites in the outdoor space of our newly opened East Austin studio,” the band wrote in a statement. “No opener. Tickets are strictly limited to 130 and are $15 in advance, $20 at the door.”

Recently, everyone from Phoenix to LCD Soundsystem to, most notably, Phish have put similar plans in motion, preferring to play at one venue for an extended period of time rather than burn out on a hectic touring schedule.

Tickets for White Denim’s upcoming tour dates go on sale March 30. For more information check out White Denim’s website.
