Chris Thile is taking Live From Here (formerly A Prairie Home Companion) on the road.

The Punch Brothers/Nickel Creek mandolinist take the beloved music-comedy program across the US, starting on April 7 at The State Theatre in Minneapolis, Minn. and making his way to New York City’s Town Hall on April 14, 21 and 28. The show will then head south this May to play the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, the Fox Theatre in Atlanta and more. The tour will wrap up on June 30 at Tanglewood in Lenox, Mass.

Thile will welcome a variety of guests during this run of Live From Here, not limited to the country/bluegrass genre. Some of the scheduled performers include Shakey Graves, Father John Misty, Courtney Barnett, Neko Case, Calexico, Sufjan Stevens, Thile’s own Punch Brothers band and more. The show will also feature spoken word guests like comics Rhea Butcher and Janeane Garofalo, as well as Poet Laureate Tracy K. Smith. Additional guests will be added weekly.
