In a Facebook post on April 5, jamtronica quartet Zoogma announced they were taking an indefinite break, intending to “seek new opportunities as musicians, professionals and adults.”

In a 2011 interview with Relix bassist Ryan Nall said, “We wanted to create something that was both a method for connecting ourselves together through the music and also for connecting our music to the crowd.”

And while the end is near, the band still has a few dates on their calendar. Zoogma’s final show for the foreseeable future will be on May 27 at the Summer Camp Music Festival.

To our fans, friends & family…As we enter our 10th year as a band we have been reflecting on all the amazing times that we’ve shared together over the years, and all the joy it has brought us as a band, company, brothers and musicians. We want to let you know that we will be taking an indefinite break from Zoogma. As there are many different reasons for this, rest assured that we still love each other and there are no internal struggles between any of us in the band. This break will be a time for us to seek new opportunities as musicians, professionals and adults. We have a few shows left on the calendar and will also be adding a little “final run” to send us off on a high note soon. Where would you all like to see us stop before we take a break? We have some ideas, but you guys have been the backbone of this whole thing from the very beginning and we want to try and do what we can to rage with as many of you as possible one last time. Thank you to everyone that has been supportive to us over the last decade, it has been truly remarkable what we have accomplished together.
