On Wednesday April 4, Jack Antonoff became the first musician to play New York’s two marquee arenas – Madison Square Garden and Barclays Center – in the same night.

Antonoff and his band Bleachers are currently opening for pop singer P!nk, on the spring leg of her arena tour. (Antonoff who also works extensively as a producer, has collaborated with P!nk in the past.)

Bleachers began the night with a short set at MSG that doubled as the group’s debut at the venue. Interestingly, Antonoff had previously played the venue with his former band fun.

After his set, Antonoff booked it to Brooklyn to join another one of his recent production clients, his close friend Lorde, during her show at Barclays Center.

Antonoff sat in for a take on St. Vincent’s “New York,” yet another song he produced, during the portion of Lorde’s set devoted to area specific covers. He also helped her out on their own “Hard Feelings” and “Liability.”

On Thursday, Antonoff returned to Madison Square Garden for a second support spot for P!nk, before heading to Baltimore to perform with Bleachers.
