As Coachella 2018’s first weekend draws to a close, Chic frontman Nile Rodgers shared a clip of the band performing David Bowie’s “Let’s Dance” to a hyped up California crowd.

In a dance themed setlist, Rodgers kicked things off on Saturday April 14 with a double shot of Chic originals – “Everybody Dance” and “Dance, Dance, Dance (Yowsah, Yowsah, Yowsah” – before covering everyone from Diana Ross to Madonna to the Sugarhill Gang.

Interestingly, most of the covers in Rodgers’ set (including “Let’s Dance”) were written or produced by the trailblazing musician.

“Let’s Dance” has recently become a setlist staple for Rogers. He and Chic last performed the tune on April 12 at the Spark Arena in Aukland, Australia.

Nile Rogers and Chic are scheduled to perform over both weekends of Coachella, so they will return to the Empire Polo Grounds on Saturday April 21.
