New York’s City Parks Foundation has announced the 2018 schedule for its annual SummerStage concerts, which will offer an extensive slate of free gigs and benefit shows across the five boroughs. The schedule opens June 2 with a concert from Gregory Porter and Victory in Central Park.

The ticketed benefit shows on the schedule include Trombone Shorty’s Voodoo Threauxdown (which will also feature Galactic and Preservation Hall Jazz Band and more), Liam Gallagher + Richard Ashcroft, Mac DeMarco, O.A.R., Dispatch + Nahko and Medicine for the People, Jason Mraz + Brett Dennen, , Blood Orange and more.

On the free-concert side of SummerStage are shows from Broken Social Scene, Rhiannon Giddens, Mura Masa, Portugal’s Mariza, San Fermin, Femi Kuti, Son Little, Eddie Palmieri + Tony Vega and many more, plus local shows like Talib Kweli, Big Daddy Kane and Young M.A. playing in Brooklyn’s Brownsville neighborhood and more. SummerStage will also be putting on the Charlie Parker Jazz Festival in August.
