Dawes will release their new studio album, Passwords, on June 22 via their own HUB Records, and today the band has shared the video for the record’s lead single, “Living in the Future,” along with another track, “Crack the Case.”

While the latter (premiered by Consequence of Sound) is a softer, meditative composition, the former (premiered by Boing Boing) is more of a rocker, with both tunes invoking some synths for added textures. The new video for “Living in the Future” has Dawes playing the song in front of a machine that seems to be capturing their digital image in hologram form.
