Next week, a number of musicians will come together in Vermont to raise money for Trey Anastasio Band and Soule Monde keyboardist Ray Paczkowski, who recently underwent successful surgery to remove a brain tumor but faces additional treatment costs and recovery time that currently prohibits him from working.

The benefit band, dubbed the Sun Ray Orchestra, will feature Paczkowski’s Soule Monde bandmate Russ Lawton, Twiddle’s Mihali Savoulidis and Ryan Dempsey, Dave Grippo and his Grippo Frunk Band collaborators Aaron Hersey, Brian McCarthy and Steve Jones, Cabinet’s Pappy Biondo, Bob Wagner, Robinson Morse, Michael Chorney, Gabriel Jarrett, Miriam Bernardo, Ron Rost, Brett Hughes, Heloise Williams, Josh Weinstein, Seth Yacovone, Tyler Mast, Steve Hadeka, Peter Day, Zach Nugent, Greg Matses, Sean Preece, Clint Bierman, Brett Lanier and Brian Boyes. Savoulidis will also open the evening with a solo acoustic set.

More information on the event can be found here, and donations to Paczkowski’s recovery fund can be made here.
