Lollapalooza will continue to expand its international reach next year with a brand-new festival set for Stockholm, Sweden, in June. Lollapalooza Stockholm will be the sixth international iteration of the festival, along with events in Santiago, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Berlin and Paris.

“It takes years of research and planning to determine the right cities to host Lollapalooza, and we never take the decision lightly,” says Charles Attal of C3 Presents, who will produce Lollapalooza Stockholm along with Perry Farrell, WME and Live Nation Sweden. “With its incredible culture, vibrant music scene and beautiful green spaces, Stockholm proved to be an ideal city to add to our growing international family. We are fortunate and honored to partner with Anna Sjolund, Thomas Johansson and their team, who are highly respected around the world as some of the best promoters in the business.”

Lollapalooza Stockholm is set for June 28–29, 2019, in Stockholm’s Gärdet park. Lineup and ticketing information is expected later this year. Visit the new festival’s website here.

The original Lollapalooza will take place this August 2–5 in Chicago’s Grant Park with music from Jack White, The Weeknd, Arctic Monkeys, Bruno Mars, Vampire Weekend, Travis Scott, St. Vincent and many more.
