The Waterloo Festival has added a number of artists to its inaugural lineup, including Oteil & Friends, Leftover Salmon, Perpetual Groove, BIG Something and more.

The new live music gathering will take place from September 7-9 in Austin, Texas, and the fleet of new acts will join previously announced headliners like The String Cheese Incident and Joe Russo’s Almost Dead.

Looking closer, Dead & Company bassist Oteil Burbridge’s will be backed by Friends like Jay Lane, John Kadlecek, and Jeff Chimenti. The lineup will also feature a dash of Pink Floyd with an Easy All-Stars Dub Side of the Moon set.

“With Waterloo, we set out to honor and celebrate the heritage and spirit of Austin with world-class music inspired by our roots and a weekend-long outdoor experience that will make our city proud,” says Waterloo co-founder Briggs Mitchell said in a prior statement. “We couldn’t think of a better place to call home than on the banks of the Colorado River, and to us, nothing brings together the creativity and soul of Austin more than three nights of The String Cheese Incident accompanied by an eclectic mix of artists across the jam music spectrum. We believe Austin deserves this festival and we are honored to host what we believe will become a legendary celebration for years to come.”

Last week the festival also announced The Relix Stage, where a range of acts, from improvisational prog-rockers TAUK to Colorado funk collective The Motet will showcase their talents.
