As Trey Anastasio tours with a stripped-down trio, TAB trumpeter-vocalist Jennifer Hartswick has been taking the summer to perform with Nick Cassarino and explore her own solo repertoire.
In a recent Instagram post, Hartswick writes that she was listening to the new Dave Matthews Band record Come Tomorrow and she was struck by album closer “When I’m Weary.”
“It’s simplicity, beauty an lyrical content are perfection,” she says. “The only way I could think of to say ‘thank you’ to Dave was to record my own verison of it.”
