G. Love, a.k.a. Garrett Dutton, has announced the inaugural Cape Cod Roots & Blues Festival, a one-day celebration in Orleans, MA, that will feature a lineup curated by Dutton and featuring G. Love & Special Sauce, among others.

Dutton says that the festival is focused on “bringing to the stage a musical family that we have been cultivating for 25 years strong,” and his festival lineup will also feature Citizen Cope, Ron Artis II and The Truth, and Ripe. Festival partner and local brewer Hog Island Beer Co. will also host a beer garden during the festival.

“Orleans, Massachusetts has been our home for seven years now and we have fallen completely in love with the town, the people, and the beautiful pristine nature which surrounds the Cape,” Dutton says. “From surfing to paddle boarding, fishing and bird watching, hiking, biking, eating, drinking—the Cape has it all.”

The Cape Cod Roots & Blues Festival is set for September 15 at Nauset Beach in Orleans, MA. Tickets and more information can be found here.
