Playing their second night at Colorado’s Dillon Amphitheater, The String Cheese Incident debuted a new, politically-charged original called “Illegal.”

The band punctuated their first set with live staples like an opening “Sometime A River,” a winding “Best Feeling” jam (that contained Bob Marley’s “Exodus”) and a set-closing “Water”> “Sand Dollar”> “Texas” segment.

The band then opened their second half with “Illegal,” new song by drummer Michael Travis about immigration. The band followed it up by jumping into a nice “Climb”> “Glad”> “Outside and Inside” jam, and then Kyle Hollingsworth’s “Falling Through The Cracks.”

Later, SCI closed their second consecutive Colorado show with a “Rhythm Of The Road” that bled into “Shine.” They encored with the bluegrass staple “High On A Mountaintop.”
