Fruition have announced they will release a new EP, Fire, on August 17, just one day before the band returns to Colorado’s famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre for a show with Railroad Earth.

Three out of the four tracks on Fire were recorded during Fruition’s studio sessions for this year’s Watching It All Fall Apart, which featured production from Tucker Martine (whose extensive resume includes work with The Decemberists and My Morning Jacket, among others), including the EP’s first single, “Baby Let’s Go,” which will be released this Friday, August 10.

Fruition have also shared a live video of their performance of “Fire” at Red Rocks last year. Watch below. The band will head out on tour in support of EP and Watching this fall with a newly announced batch of dates that includes stops in Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, New York and more. See the group’s full upcoming schedule below, and pre-order Fire here.
