My Morning Jacket frontman has announced he will be playing a free, outdoor concert in Los Angeles as part of radio station KCRW’s Summer Nights’ Backyard Party series.

James’ show will take place this Saturday, August 11, at 7pm local time, on the campus of Santa Monica College. James will be playing a solo acoustic set of tunes from his catalog, including from his latest solo album, Uniform Distortion.
