Closing out his two-night stand at Red Rocks, Pretty Lights a.k.a. Derek Vincent Smith streamed his entire Aug. 11 show live from Morrison, Colo.

PL’s headlining gigs at the historic venue were billed as his “only shows of the summer, possibly all year,” and he was sure to give a nod to the venue’s jam roots closing his Friday night outing with “Shakedown Street”/“Scarlet Begonias” remix.

On Saturday, Aug. 11, Smith was in a collaborative mood, welcoming his brother Motifv to the stage for a stretch of tunes including his own “Insufficient Lighting.”

“This music is directly linked to my heart and I think you’ll feel that,” Smith said from the stage.

Throughout the run, Smith was backed by his live band featuring Borahm Lee, Alvin Ford Jr., Chris Karns and Brandon Butler and lighting designer Lazer Shark.
