Hi all,
These months are flying by.....it seemed like just yesterday that I was writing the intro to the regional report. It also seems like just yesterday that I was groveling for some much needed participation for this regional report, so here I go again: Please feel free to send any jamband related info that has relevance to the Big Sky region to bigsky@jambands.com. Reviews, band info, upcoming shows, whatever.
Here in St. Louis we continue to be blessed with some pretty tasty shows. While Phish couldn't work out a stop here on the fall tour (they were close however, in Normal, IL), we have been lucky enough to host and will be hosting shortly SCI, Santana, Deep Banana Blackout, The Slip, Disco Biscuits, MMW, Leftover Salmon, among others. There seems to be no end in sight, thankfully, for the fact that St. Louis is becoming a favorite stop to many jambands.
I must give a mention as well to the St. Louis Rams. Yeah, I know, there is no relation really to sports and this page, however, the Rams have bolted out of the gate to a 4-0 start, and considering we had one of the worst records of the decade (90's), and we are all in a state of shock considering our start this year... well, I had to give them mention.
Enjoy the start of fall season. Til next month...
