Last month, the Fort Collins-based band Euforquestra hosted its 7th annual Camp Euforia Festival at Jerry’s Farm in Lone Tree, Iowa. On one of the evenings the String Cheese Incident’s Kyle Hollingsworth joined the group for an entire set on keys. In addition, SCI’s drumming duo of Michael Travis and Jason Hann were there to perform with EOTO. When Euforquestra took the stage for its encore, all three members of String Cheese joined in as the group covered SCI’s “MLT.”

Here is what Euforquestra guitarist Mike Tallman had to say about the experience: “It was a very special treat for us to have Kyle Hollingsworth play a set with us at Camp Euforia 2010. Having toured in support of Kyle’s band last fall, we were familiar with a lot of his material and we had a great time building a set that consisted of his tunes, our tunes and a few covers. When we invited Travis and Jason (who were playing a late-night EOTO set at the festival) to sit in they were totally in to it, and so our encore for the second night of our fest became a mini-Incident. We were humbled by the opportunity to bring all these guys out to our intimate little fest among the cornfields in eastern-Iowa… and it’s crazy to think that almost exactly one week later they were playing “MLT” to a raging sold-out crowd at Red Rocks!”
