I never blamed rich white guys for war. Those are your words. I blame the rulnig class (or those who aspire to rule). War is the mechanism whereby the powerful plunder the weak. It can also be the mechanism for an exchange of power, as in the Bolshevik Revolution. Proletariats never instigate revolutions. The bourgeoisie are always behind them, urging them on “for the good of the people,” “democracy,” “freedom,” and such.Let’s see, who became the head of the Soviet state after the fall of the house of Romanov? Oh yeah that Lenin guy, leader of the Bolsheviks. Not technically a rich white guy, but a bourgie lawyer with political aspirations. Again, the people suffered and the leaders got rich.Thank you for making my point; it’s impossible to come up with a single example of a war that wasn’t started by someone craving power and wealth.
