Organist John Medeski jammed with Particle last night at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood, CA. Medeski (Medeski, Martin & Wood) took the stage for KneeKnocker midway through the second set.

Derek Trucks Band Announced for Camp Creek

Terrapin Presents has announced that the Derek Trucks Band will perform Camp Creek. The festival will be held July 26-28 at Indian Lookout Country Club in Mariaville, NY. Other confirmed artists include Max Creek, Robert Randolph & the Family Band, Tom Tom Club, The Big Wu, Entrain, Gordon Stone, The Bomb Squad, The Grapes of Vaudevillian Fantasy, Uncle Sammy, South Catherine Street Jug Band, David Gans and Midnight Sun. Alan Hertz & Friends to Collaborate This Weekend

Alan Hertz and friends will perform this weekend on the West Coast. The line-up features drummer Hertz (Garaj Mahal, KVHW), bassist Liam Hanrahan (Melvin Seals, Zero), keyboardist Eric Levy (Garaj Mahal), guitarist Tal Morris (Sons of Champlin) and DJ Fly Agaric 23. The group plays tonight at the Last Day Saloon in San Francisco, CA and Saturday at The Underground Lounge in Portland, OR. Special guests are expected.
