Jon Gutwillig and Members of The Ally to Collaborate Saturday

The Disco Biscuits’ Jon Gutwillig will perform with members of The Ally Saturday at Galapagos in Brooklyn, NY. The line-up includes Gutwillig (guitar), Mike Greenfield (drums) and Ira Tuton (bass). Special guests are expected. Showtime is 10 p.m. It is a 21-plus event.

Members of Sound Tribe Sector 9 to Perform in Side Projects

Sound Tribe Sector 9’s Zach Velmer will take the stage Saturday with Max Malone of The Free Energy Product (music powered by solar energy) at Studio Z in San Francisco, CA. Billed as Life, the duo will also perform Feburary 1 at Vets Hall in Santa Cruz. On Feb 2, Velmer will join forces with David Murphy (STS9) and DJ James Christopher (War on Drums) for a show at the Justic League in San Francisco. The group will play under the name Root Science.

OM Trio to Kick Off Tour Tomorrow

OM Trio kicks off its winter tour tomorrow at Smileys in Bolinas, CA. The tour includes multiple stops in California, Colorado and Oregon as well as dates in Idaho, Montana and Washington. The band is touring in support of its latest release, Live.

Steve Kimock Band Announces Winter Itinerary

The Steve Kimock Band has released its winter tour schedule. The band’s current line-up includes Kimock (guitar), Mitch Stein (guitar), Alphonso Johnson (bass) and Rodney Holmes (drums). The tour begins January 25 at Higher Ground in Winooski, VT and includes stops in Massachusetts, New York, Maryland, New Jersey, Washington DC, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida and Colorado.

Mountain of Venus to Play Jam Nation

Mountain of Venus will perform on radio program Jam Nation this Sunday. The show airs each Sunday from 8 10 p.m. on Radio 104 WMRQ in Harford, CT. The band will play an hour set followed by a short interview segment.
