A Thousand Words
note

An Introduction to this Section...

Hello everybody. Welcome to "A Thousand Words" a new column dedicated to the visuals of the jambands world. This column will be constanty changing and evolving as time progresses. Many times we will have photo essays of our scene and the musicians that make our scene possible. Sometimes I'll be writing some captions and paragraphs to describe the pictures but usually I'd rather let the images speak for themselves, hence the title "A Thousand Words" (thanks benjy!) Other times we will be having guest writers who will be talking about the images that invlove them, as Chris Ragan did in the "Images from the land of moe." piece a couple of months back. So check back often because we will be posting new stuff during the month, not just in each new issue. Our first piece is dedicated to the memory of Allen Woody from Gov't Mule. Special thanks to Matt Busch from Hardhead Management who made it possible for me to create these images, and very special thanks to he who has inspired me to create visual art from music. Stay tuned, the best is yet to come.

This One Was For Woody
