ALO’s Zach Gill will release a new album Life in the Multiverse due out on June 2 via Brushfire/Republic Records.

His second full-length solo album marks his first release since 2013’s Roastin’ Chestnuts with Zach Gill and the first single from the record, “Joy (Abbreviated)” is now available to stream via all streaming services.

Gill says the song emerged from thinking about the music he liked as a kid while watching his daughter and friends explore music at Outside Lands Music Festival. “About a year ago, I brought my teenage daughter and her friend to Outside Lands in Golden Gate Park,” Gill said. “For three days, we saw everyone from Billy Idol and Tame Impala to Kendrick Lamar and Elton John. It was all great. Later that week, my head was still full of music, and I wrote the lyrics to ‘Joy.’”

Pre-orders are now live here.
