Gov’t Mule continued their European run with a slot at Bluesfest in London where they again welcomed a series of guests, this time on a pair of Allman Brothers tunes.

After a set that relied heavily on originals, particularly from their new album Revolution Come, Revolution Go, Mule welcomed out a pair of bandmates from the Kenny Wayne Shepherd band, including its namesake as well as Noah Hunt. Together, then ensemble tackled “Statesboro Blues” before breaking for the encore.

For the one-song encore, it was the second appearance of Whitesnake guitarist Bernie Marsden who emerged on “Whipping Post” to bring the show to a close.
